The conclusions from this discussion session are:

•    Istihalah is something that can be utilized, our facilities provided by Allah SWT.

•    Istihalah is found in the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

•    The things that are applicable can be utilized with condition that, it follows the principles of the Quran and al-Sunnah

•    The method should follow the standard of istihalah kulliyyah where it triggered polemic in Malaysia because the average people adhere to the Shafii' Mazhab generally; The views we choose are strict.

•    The difference can be solved by the discussion of shariah experts and scientists to determine which standard of istihalah we want to apply in Malaysia.

•    If it still remains as DNA then istihalah will not happen.

•    For scientists, it's possible that kulliy may occur at the atomic level or no further effects.

•    A lot of things in Islam have been simplified and unnecessary need to the extreme detailing. The law and philosophy of science and technology have shown the hardship of practicing Islam.

•    But employers, they are responsible for ensuring that the goods are 100% halal.

•    The general public is not up to it, it is just based on the surface.

•    So if there is a halal logo, we do not have to purchase an expensive device to examine the authentic. Because Islam does not tighten up to that stage.

•    The method of umum al-balwa, which is difficult to be avoided. For example, the process of finding unsure pork in the sample due to contamination rather than being mixed in the factory. It happens when shipping (logistics). It is something that is forgiven if it reaches the level of darurah.

•    It is up to us if we want to take a rigorous view, but it needs to be discussed in detail, in order to determine the standard for understanding and acceptance of the community.
