Exposure to Organic Farming Basics

The Exposure to The Basic of Organic Farming Program is a collaborative program between IHRUM and the Malaysian Institute of Sustainable Agriculture (MISA). The aim is to raise the awareness of the importance of good halal food (Halalan Thoyibban) by producing sustainable agriculture products and natural farming using natural/organic farming methods, without chemical fertilizers and insecticides. A total of 26 participants from Academy of Islamic Studies UM has participated the one-day program.



Hj. Hud bin Sulaiman, Director of MISA was explaining to the participants on how to make effective microbes (EM).
 
 
Participants have given a chance to hands-on and producing compost fertilizer during practical sessions.
 

The participants were listening to the briefings given by Hj. Hud bin Sulaiman.
 
 
Participants took a picture with the Director of MISA, Hj. Hud bin Sulaiman as memories participating in this one-day program.
