University of Malaya Halal Research Centre (UMHRC) is a one-stop research centre at University of Malaya, operating in June 2014 in line with government's desire to make Malaysia as a Global Halal Hub. The services offered by UMHRC including Halal Training Program, research related to halal-based such as Shariah and Law, Science & Technology, Socio-Economic, Halal Food & Beverages, Halal Logistic, Halal Consumerism & Products, Halal Pharmaceutical and Halal Tourism. We also provide consultancy on halal regulations and halal certification to industries and possible commercialization of halal products.
